It’s time. It’s THAT time. It’s Back to School. The kids gotta get up early and there’s a whole morning routine. The pin boards are LIT. No really, there’s so many friggin’ letter pin boards out there on the internet.
What’s the one thing that was put in your lunch as a kid that you were just like “meh” 100% of the time? Granola bars. What’s left in the pantry to throw in? Granola bars! Groan. Woof. Sigh.
Let’s revamp those bars.
*adjusts spotlight* Insert Out of This World sprinkles. We’re willing to bet there’s a lot of pressure when it comes to school. Let’s make old school the NEW with these sweet sweet treats!
These no bake bites will put a smile on those anxious faces and give them something to share at lunch and maybe even recess. Watch out for those sweaty, small pockets though. Granolas aren’t a fan of those.
- 1/2 C peanut butter
- 1/2 T Coconut Oil
- 3 T Honey
- 1 T Almond Extract
- 1/2 t Cinnamon
- 1/3 C Flaxseed Meal
- 1 T Chia Seeds
- 1/2 C Steel Cut Oats
- 1/3 C Almond Shavings
- 1/2 C Out of This World Sprinkle Mix
- 1/2 C Rice Cereal
Add peanut butter, coconut oil, honey and almond extract to medium heat pan until mixed and creamy.
Remove from heat and stir in remaining ingredients into loaf pan lined with parchment.
Press in extra sprinkles on top.
Melt 1/2 C chocolate chips with coconut oil and pour over granola.
Add more almonds.
Refrigerate for 2 hours. Cut and enjoy!
