Honey Cinnamon Apple Galette


1 pre-made pie crust
3 large apples, peeled and thinly sliced
1/4 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup honey
2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
2 tsp lemon juice
1 tsp cinnamon
Sprinkle Pop “Talk Turkey” sprinkle mix

Preheat the oven to 375 degrees. In a mixing bowl add the peeled and sliced apples, brown sugar, honey, flour, lemon juice, and cinnamon and mix together. Cover and refrigerate while the crust is prepared. On a sheet of parchment paper roll out the pie crust into approx. 12 inches in diameter. In the centre of the pie crust begin to arrange the soaked apple slices in a circular pattern beginning around the outside and working in. Make sure to leave approx. 2 inches of crust around the outside as this is what will be folded over. Once all the apples have been arranged on the pie dough, fold the outer edge of the crust over and gently press down. Slide the parchment paper onto a baking tray and bake in the preheated oven for approx. 30-35 minutes or until the crust is golden brown. Serve with a generous dash of Sprinkle Pop “Talk Turkey” sprinkles and maybe even a scoop of vanilla ice cream. Enjoy!
