Mother’s day is quickly approaching…for me that’s a double whammy because my mom’s birthday is on May 4th. Some years picking out the perfect Mother’s Day gift is easy as pie! <-- get it…that’s a baking joke…you get it, right? Other years finding a gift is a balancing act. Does she need/want this? Is it practical? Is it affordable? The list goes on… I find that practical and fun is always the way to go. So, if your mom is a baking enthusiast, like myself, she will love to get something to use in her happy place…aka…the kitchen!
let’s be honest…they might be too beautiful to use. Either way they will make a lovely addition to her kitchen. These are from Crate & Barrel
2. Custom Aprons
Modern Vintage Market, on Etsy, has been one of my favorite shops for quite a while! These custom aprons are cute and practical. Honestly, I can’t tell you how many aprons I have, but it’s a lot. I am baking, frosting, decorating or making sprinkles pretty much every day…so I can’t really have too many!
Sidenote: I love Modern Vintage Market’s tea towels…I have a ton of them!
3. Cupcake Kit
Of course there’s an endless sea of cookbooks, but here are a few of my favorites.
Cupcakes and Parties, by Jennifer Shea
The Liddabit Sweets Candy Cookbook, by Liz Gutman & Jen King
Martha Stewart's Cupcakes, by Martha Stewart Living Magazine
5. Sprinkle Pop!
You didn’t think I was gonna let you leave without plugging my brand did you? Right now we have a Mother’s Day special: 2 for $20. Grab a few to be the icing on the cake of your Mother’s Day gift!
I hope you've found some sweet inspiration!
