Nutella Stuffed Brownies With Cream Cheese Frosting by Monique Polanco
I don't want to sound melodramatic when I say you will think you have died and gone to heaven when you eat one of these Nutella stuffed brownies but it's the truth. Brownies are down right delicious on their own but are next level amazing when filled with Nutella and topped with cream cheese frosting. Don't waste another moment and get out the mixing bowl. I promise that you'll be in Nutella brownie heaven before long!
1 Box Brownie Mix (follow directions for the batter)
Cream Cheese Frosting:
8 ounces cream cheese, softened
1 stick butter, softened
5 cups powdered sugar
2 tbsp. heavy cream
1/2 tsp vanilla
Green food gel
1/2 cup Nutella for filling
Sprinkle Pop "Emerald Isles" Sprinkles for garnish
Mix brownies according to package. Spray an 8 cavity cylinder shape silicon mold with cooking spray. Fill each cavity 2/3 of the way with brownie batter. Bake in a 350 degree oven for 18-22 minutes. Cool completely, then invert brownies onto a plate.
For the frosting, place cream cheese and butter in a bowl and beat with a mixer. Add powdered sugar, vanilla and heavy cream. Beat until smooth. Add gel color, a little at a time, until you reach your desired shade. Place a piping tip on a piping bag and fill with frosting. Set aside.
Use a knife to cut out the center of each brownie. Place 1 tablespoon of Nutella in each hole. Pipe frosting on top of each Nutella filled brownie in a round swirled motion.
Top with Sprinkle Pop Sprinkles.
