Vanilla Coconut Donut

What you'll need for the Cake Donut:

1 C AP Flour, Sifted

3/4 C White Sugar

1 tsp. Baking Powder

2 tbsp cocoa powder

¼ tsp. Salt

1/3 C Whole Milk

1 Large Egg

1 T Pure Vanilla Extract

2 T Salted Butter, Melted

Cake Donut Instructions:

Preheat oven to 425 °F and grease a donut pan.  In a large bowl, add sifted flour, sugar, baking powder, cocoa powder and salt.  Stir to combine.  Add milk, egg, vanilla, and butter and combine until smooth.  Spoon into greased pan and bake 7-8 minutes or until golden brown. Remove from the pan and set on a rack to cool.  

What you'll need for the Chocolate Glaze:

1/2 cup powdered sugar 

2 tsp cocoa powder

1 tbsp milk 

dash of vanilla 

True love blooms sprinkles

Chocolate Glaze Instructions:

Stir to combine until smooth. Double recipe for thicker glaze. Top with True Love Blooms sprinkles and an edible butterfly garnish.
