Chick's Nest Easter Cookies

These cookies are so perfect for Easter and they're seriously adorable! The best part about this recipe is how simple it is, we used a boxed cake mix and a canned frosting so you'll waste no time this easter. Let us know if you make this recipe!

Ingredients: 

Yield: 20 cookies

  • 1 box of white cake mix
  • ⅓ cup oil
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 bag of easter egg chocolates (Cadbury mini eggs)
  • 1 bag of mini marshmallows
  • 1 bag of edible easter grass
  • 1 bottle of Sprinkle Pop pastel jimmies
  • Sprinkle Pop royal icing easter friends
  • 1 can of cream cheese frosting
  • 1 gallon ziploc bag

Instructions:

  • In a large bowl, mix your cake mix with the oil and 2 eggs.
  • Add in your easter egg chocolates (leave about a quarter of the bag for later), the marshmallows, and pastel jimmies.
  • Fold all of these ingredients in.
  • Once they are fully incorporated, form the dough into even balls, and place on a baking sheet lined with parchment.
  • Let them bake at 350 for 10-12 minutes.
  • Once they are done, let them cool completely. 
  • Once they are cooled, grab your ziploc bag and add in your cream cheese frosting and cut a 1 inch hole in the corner of the bag.
  • Pipe your cookies evenly in circular motions. 
  • Once they’re iced, add on your easter grass and chocolate eggs in the middle with your royal icing chicks.
