Easter Crack

Have you ever heard of Christmas crack? Well let us introduce Easter Crack! It has the same delicious buttery and sweet taste, but has gorgeous Easter pastels. It's absolutely perfect for serving on the big holiday!

Ingredients:

  • 1 box of saltine crackers
  • 1 package of almond bark
  • 1 cup of butter
  • 1 cup of brown sugar
  • Yellow food coloring
  • Pink food coloring
  • Purple food coloring
  • 1 bottle of your favorite Sprinkle Pop easter sprinkles!
  • Any topping you'd like, we used our easter royal icing and mini marshmallows!

Directions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 400 and place your saltines side by side on a 10 x 15 cookie sheet lined with parchment paper.
  2. Use a saucepan to melt the butter and brown sugar over medium high heat. Use a whisk to stir and let the mixture boil for about 3 minutes.
  3. Pour this mixture over your saltines and place in the oven for 5 minutes.
  4. Divide your almond bark into 4 equal pieces in separate bowls.
  5. Melt each one in the microwave in small intervals and put a small amount of each of the food colorings into the bowls, leaving one white.
  6. Once the saltines are out of the oven, pour each color of almond bark over the saltines and make any designs you’d like.
  7. Add your sprinkles and any other toppings you desire.
  8. Cool on the counter for about 15 minutes before storing in the refrigerator.

Enjoy!
