Halloween Popcorn

Ingredients

  • 10 cups popped popcorn (about ½ cup unpopped kernels)

  • 12 oz bag Wilton Candy Melts (orange)
OR 12 oz Ghirardelli white melting wafers + a few drops of oil-based food coloring gel

  • 1 cup of candy corn (optional)

  • 1 cup of mini Kit Kats

  • 4oz Jar of Happy Halloween Sprinkle Mix

Instructions

  1. Pop the Popcorn

    • Prepare your popcorn using an air popper or stovetop. Place in a large mixing bowl and remove any unpopped kernels.

  2. Melt the Chocolate

    • If using Wilton Candy Melts: melt in a microwave-safe bowl in 20–30 second intervals, stirring until smooth.

    • If using Ghirardelli melting wafers: melt the same way, then stir in a few drops of oil-based food coloring gel to achieve your desired Halloween shade.

  3. Coat the Popcorn

    • Drizzle the melted chocolate over the popcorn.

    • Toss gently with a spatula until evenly coated.

  4. Add Mix-Ins

    • While the chocolate is still wet, sprinkle on Halloween sprinkles.

    • Mix in candy corn, Kit Kats, and sprinkles if desired.

  5. Set and Serve

    • Spread the coated popcorn onto a parchment-lined baking sheet.

    • Allow it to set for 15–20 minutes until the chocolate hardens.

    • Break into chunks and serve in bowls, cups, or treat bags.
